This class is designed for the beginners. Those who would like to learn the aesthetics of meditation,  want to bring meditation into their routine can greatly benefit from this class. Also, it will open up different spiritual possibilities within you. If learning meditation has been on your mind, this class is for you!

What you'll learn in the class

7 Essential Components of Meditation

  1. Prayer & Visualisation – How to pray for the higher guidance and how visualisation can help begin the journey to meditation. Opening up the heart for the higher reality within such as peace, calmness.
  2. Relaxation Exercises – Relaxation is the first stage of preparation for meditation. You’ll learn simple yet effective relaxation exercises to overcome tension in the body and regulate the breath.
  3. Energy – How to work with the energy, to overcome mind related stuff such as unending thoughts during meditation. You’ll learn to direct the flow of energy inward and to a super-conscious level.
  4. Posture – You’ll learn how to sit still yet comfortably to meditate. Whether it’s on the floor or on the chair, you’ll learn the correct posture.
  5. Meditation Technique – You’ll learn simple meditation technique to interiorize the mind and enjoy after effects such as peace, calmness.
  6. Silence – This is the final stage of meditation wherein you’ll learn to enjoy the silence within and expand it further.
  7. Environment – You’ll learn how to set up your meditation area and create an inviting environment to help you meditate even during tough times.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Two guided meditations will also be part of the class to apply these components into practice. There will be time for Q&As as well.

Hello! I'm Anandita. I'll be taking your "Meditation For Beginners" class. I've been practising meditation regularly since 2018. Before finding a true purpose in sharing and living the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda ji, I worked with start-ups and helped various strategic, marketing projects. Meditation brought many changes within and around me ever since. One of the important changes meditation brings into our lives is "higher awareness". Due to higher awareness we're able to live life more peacefully, joyfully and willingly. There's a lot more to share with you. I hope to see you in the class!

Will there be recording available after the class?

Attendance to the live class is necessary. We recommend that you register for this class if you can attend it live. Taking notes during the class will help you greatly. Recording link will be provided if you missed the class due to technical difficulties at our end or in exceptional cases.

How to join the online class?

As soon as you register for the class, you’ll receive an email and WhatsApp message with the Zoom class link. Click that and join 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
